He married Teodora De La Luz Baca in San Augustine De Isleta Church, Isleta, New Mexico, May 21, 1786.⁽⁹¹⁰⁾ Teodora was born 1773.⁽⁹¹¹⁾ Teodora⁽⁹¹²⁾ was the daughter of Francisco Baca and María Victoria Silva. Teodora died November 29, 1851 in Belen, New Mexico, at 78 years of age.⁽⁹¹³⁾ Her body was interred 1851 in Cemetery, Belen, New Mexico.⁽⁹¹⁴⁾ At 17 years of age Teodora became the mother of José Joaquin Padilla 1790.⁽⁹¹⁵⁾ At 20 years of age Teodora became the mother of José Antonio Ramon Padilla 1793.⁽⁹¹⁶⁾ At 24 years of age Teodora became the mother of María Manuela Leonard Padilla in Belen, New Mexico, February 1798.⁽⁹¹⁷⁾ At 29 years of age Teodora became the mother of Ana Maria Padilla 1802.⁽⁹¹⁸⁾ At 29 years of age Teodora became the mother of Antonio Abad Francisco Sevastian Padilla March 1803.⁽⁹¹⁹⁾ At 31 years of age Teodora became the mother of José Vicente Padilla January 1805.⁽⁹²⁰⁾ At 33 years of age Teodora became the mother of Juan Padilla 1806.⁽⁹²¹⁾ At 37 years of age Teodora became the mother of María Abad Padilla January 17, 1811.⁽⁹²²⁾ At 37 years of age Teodora became the mother of Antonio Aba Padilla January 17, 1811. He died February 18, 1844 at Belen, buried in the cemetery. She died November 29, 1851 at Belen, buried in the cemetery leaving six children.

Gertrudis Chaves and Jose Joaquin Padilla (q.v.) Maria⁽⁹⁴³⁾ is the daughter of José Baltasar De Los Reyes Duran Y Chaves and María Gertrudis Romero.

Maria became the mother of Maria Magdalena Christina Luisa Padilla July 22, 1831.⁽⁹⁴⁴⁾ Maria became the mother of Juan De Los Dolores Padilla about March 12, 1835.

At 41 years of age José became the father of Maria Magdalena Christina Luisa Padilla July 22, 1831.⁽⁹⁴⁵⁾ At approximately 44 years of age José became the father of Juan De Los Dolores Padilla about March 12, 1835.

Antonio was born 1811.⁽⁹⁶⁹⁾ Antonio⁽⁹⁷⁰⁾ was the son of José Baltasar De Los Reyes Duran Y Chaves and María Gertrudis Romero. At approximately 23 years of age Antonio became the father of Jose Dionicio Chaves about April 11, 1835.⁽⁹⁷¹⁾

This could either be the same women with a mistake in the parents, surname and marriage date, or a first wife with a similar name.
