He married María Josefa Apodaca in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, November 8, 1818.⁽⁶⁶³⁾ María was born 1800.⁽⁶⁶⁴⁾ María⁽⁶⁶⁵⁾ was the daughter of Juan José Apodaca and María Gertrudis Luzero. At 22 years of age María became the mother of Maria Encarnacion De Los Dolores Duran in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, March 25, 1823.⁽⁶⁶⁶⁾ At 23 years of age María became the mother of Luciano Duran in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, June 9, 1824.⁽⁶⁶⁷⁾ At 29 years of age María became the mother of Jose Marcelino Nepomuceno Duran in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, July 9, 1829.⁽⁶⁶⁸⁾ At 31 years of age María became the mother of Maria Josefa Duran in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, November 16, 1831.⁽⁶⁶⁹⁾ At 33 years of age María became the mother of Maria Del Rallo Duran in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, December 24, 1833.⁽⁶⁷⁰⁾ At 36 years of age María became the mother of Jose Bartolo Duran January 19, 1837.⁽⁶⁷¹⁾ At 39 years of age María became the mother of Miguel Antonio Duran in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, September 2, 1839.⁽⁶⁷²⁾ At 39 years of age María became the mother of Miguel Antonio Duran in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, September 3, 1839.⁽⁶⁷³⁾

Maria Encarnacion De Los Dolores Duran⁽⁶⁸⁸⁾ was born in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico March 25, 1823.⁽⁶⁸⁹⁾ Maria died March 31, 1823 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, at less than one year of age.⁽⁶⁹⁰⁾ Maria Encarnacion de los Dolores Duran had a twin sister, named the same. The notation in their baptism record is that they were baptised at age on day and did not live long.

Jose Marcelino Nepomuceno Duran⁽⁶⁹¹⁾ was born in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico July 9, 1829.⁽⁶⁹²⁾ He married Maria Placida Sena in Socorro, Socorro County, New Mexico, June 30, 1853. (Additional notes for Maria Placida Sena⁽⁶⁹³⁾) Jose Marcelino Duran was baptised in the Albuquerque, New Mexico parish. He apparently moved to the Socorro area in 1847. In Socorro, he married his wife, Maria Placida Sena, who was also from the Albuquerque Parish and who had come to the Socorro area in 1849.

According to the "Founders of Albuquerque" by Donald S. Dreesen, Marselino (sic) moved to Socorro in 1847. There he married Maria Placida Sena on June 27, 1853.

At approximately 23 years of age Juan became the father of Maria Bonifacio Duran after May 14, 1854.⁽⁷⁰⁰⁾ At 26 years of age Juan became the father of Jose Remijio Duran March 10, 1857.⁽⁷⁰¹⁾
