Mani,
I would like to thank you and everyone involved with the Car Club event on
Sunday.  My friends and I had a great time.  We would like to know more about
the West Los Angeles Car Club and would like to participate in future drives,
functions and events.

I was sad to drive by and see the misfortunate accident with the Ford Mustang
FR500 and the Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS near the Mile High Cafe and the other
"close call" incidents.  For the most part the cruise went well and only a
small number of drivers drove dangerously and recklessly by driving too fast,
crossing double yellow lines, unsafe passing and tailgating.  I guess some of
them couldn't control their need for speed and forgot this was a cruise and
not a race.  Fortunately, most of the drivers were well mannered and
respected everyone and the rules of the event.

Overall, I had a great time.  It was a great opportunity to meet a lot of
people, see a lot of cars and best of all I made new friends.  I hope to meet
you and everyone else at the next event.

Thanks again and keep in touch,

For those who missed out on today's big meet of nice cars have to be kicking themselves. Pictures or movies wont compare to what actually gone on at the meet. Again, special thanks to Mani who pulled off such a miracle. I would guess there were more than 150 powerful/flashy cars. Since i only hang out at the Euro and Big HP area of the parking lot, I notice the crowd was mature and very friendly, unlike some import shows i been to. All in all, i was busy talking to friends and car-guys. Since im there for the GTR, i got to meet Ken and he's motorex people. But seeing a GTR in person really isnt all that exciting, they are just rare and thats about it. But Justin's 505whp, 11 second 1/4 mile R33 GTR was my center of attention for a while. I almost completely forgot about the ferrari 550, vipers, 600+hp supras....... Any one of these cars would turn heads on a daily bases but when u get 150+ of them, u got a real show. Kudos to Mani and he's people again.

I wasnt too excited about going to the drive after the meet, because im sure something bad is gonna happen, and it certainly did, from pull overs to accidents. One of which was a very very rare car, and i happen to like that Detroit Iron, but i have to get a report/pictures from Mani to know exactly what happened. Watching the way everybody was leaving the lot, makes anyone with a brain want to head home. Tire smoking, engine reving, exhaust blasting.........U just cant really control people with fast cars and put them together with its rivals.  And dont call those people who crashed stupid, it could be any one of us, just think we are fortunate.
John.

Thanks for putting this awsome event together eventhough a couple of friends and I did not get to complete the route.  Actually, we didn't even make it to the stop #1 before we had to trun around.  Do we only get to do this once a year?

Happy motoring,

Jack

Thank you very much for putting that together again.  This was my second year and I enjoyed it even more than last year.

Thanks Mani for putting together this event.  It's the second one I've
ran with you and it was even more
fun than the first time.  I took some videos.  If I dub them onto VHS,
will that work for you?  The videos
are currently on DV.  Where do I send it to?

Btw, what do you have in your engine?  You and your car are an awesome
combo.

Thanks again and let me know about the next event,

Manny

Mani,

Great event.  I had tons of fun.  It was nice getting a chance to meet you in person too.  Looking forward to the Meet next year already.  Take care.

Mani,

Thanks for hosting this.  The larger the crowd, the more chance for mishaps.  Too bad.  We made it through clean.

Here are a sampling of pics from today.  Take it easy.

Mani:

Just wanted to drop you a note regarding the fun run today. It was great. I wish you would have at least 2 per year. The guys that I was hanging around with said that it was run very well, and it was a lot of fun.

Great job. Thanks for the invite. Looking forward to another one.

Mani,

Thank you for having Jenny and I at the Meet. The experience was interesting. I can say that I enjoy cruising at "legal" speeds rather than racing.

Ya, the meet was amazing today, nice job Mani.   I have never in my life
seen so many sports cars before in one place.   From what I have been told
there were a total of 5 cars which crashed.  Almost 6, thanks to moving
violation 527 :-P.   I took some pictures from the meet, which you guys can
take a look at.  A great job, and a hell of alot of fun overall.  Enjoy the
pictures.

What's up y'all? Yo, this year's meet was unbelievable. The head count
probably neared a 1000 people, and almost 500 cars showed up for the event.
It was covered by some media source, (not too sure who), but all in all, it
was what everyone expected. A link will be placed on my site either
Wednesday or Thursday so that everyone can look at the pics. You guys should
make plans to come next year, cause it's worth the trip.  Good job Mani!!!
