a. Brutus tells the crowd that they should believe him because he loves Rome and knows what is best for the welfare of the city and people. He also tells them, that by killing Caesar it did the city good and now it will have great leaders.
b. I have found 6 words of antithetical reference. The cumulative effect of these words show the emotion that sets the tone for this passage.
c. "Not that I loved Caesar less, but I cared for Rome more," But as he was ambitious, I slew him. As he was valiant, I honor him."

a. Antony calls Brutus and Cassius honorable in an ironic way. He really means that they are murders of the greatest leader for all of Rome. Brutus and Cassius don't know that they are being insulted by Antony calling them honorable.
c. Antony calls of Brutus saying that he though Caesar was ambitious when Caesar just wanted the great things for Rome. Antony testifies that Caesar in fact wasn't ambitious. This threw the whole audience off guard.
