• Because we start out with like a tall woman 

• dressed in crystal, darkening skirts over the lake, stops at the apple tree, moves lightly with assurance, wears a rainbow as a ribbon,

Some of the images are of the tall woman walking across the hayfield (visual), dressed in crystal in the sun (visual), Rustling= onomatopoeia, apple tree (visual image), swept darkening skirts over the lake (tactile and visual), serenely climbed the wooded hills
