Moves North (1400)
- Artists:
Durer from Germany and he will study the artists of Italy
- Religion
(Church) The North embraces it a little more. Greek, Christianity mix
together.
- Erasmus:
Almost anti church (Humanist (The Church is selling out. It is telling them
that if you cut us a check, we will pray your long last loved one in heaven)
- Erasmus
says your money can’t buy you salvation (He attacks the church)
- Catholicism
is the only church
- Luther
is a monk and sees some glitches in the Church
- Johann
Gutenberg discovers the Printing Press.
- The
printing press produces bibles for thousands. People become more literate
and establish a good relationship with God. The press also produces the
ideas of people. Gutenberg lets poor people get information that usually
rich people get. This is the most important invention in the whole world.
