DAWN'S B-DAY! Actually, a pretty uneventful day. The girls and I swam for a long time - fun. I did swan dives off the front of the boat and they gave me scores. I think my dives went 5 - 6 - 0 - 8 - 10. We had a lot of fun. We tried to let Dawn get as much rest as possible. Oh, before that, we had an awesome breakfast of crepes and then went to see Craig and Karen (from England)'s boat that is like Dave and Gail's only newer, 1 foot longer and is the owner's version with 2 guest bedrooms in one hull and a master suite in the other. Very nice boat, nice people and 2 nice big white dogs named Sean and Barney. Madeline chickened out and stayed back on D&G's boat but Lucy was very brave and went on the boat with the dogs! Anyway...after we swam we pulled up anchor (I got to do it w/Gail's help) and went back to Hog Island where they have a barbecue every Sunday night. It was good and not too expensive ($15 EC ~ $6 US). We hiked across Hog I. in search of the beach we had found a few days earlier, but only found nasty garbage beach instead. Saw lots of crab holes & a few crabs. Gail brought her little harp to the beach and sat in with a couple of guitars, violin and flute. That was cool, and it was great to hear Gail's beautiful singing voice. Sun went down, back to the boat, girls swam and ate. Dawn & I had a good conversation with Dave & Gail then we all went to bed and I wrote 2 days in this.
