Donald 'Red' Grant is the henchman in the movie From Russia With Love. He had escaped from the Dartmoor Prison in England in 1960, and then was recruited by S.P.E.C.T.R.E. in 1962. Rosa Klebb chose Grant for the mission, which involves getting the LEKTOR. Grant saves Bond's life in the Gypsy scene of the movie, though very strange, it is part of a plan for Bond to get the LEKTOR for S.P.E.C.T.R.E. Later on the train when Grant puts Chloral Hydrate in Tatiana Romanova's wine glass. Later in the cabin Grant tries to kill Bond and explains to him which organization he's from and how they will fake his suicide. However, Bond gets the upper hand with his Q branch specialized Attaché Case. The tear gas cartridge stunned Grant just long enough for Bond to make a come back, and eventually kills Grant.
