General Arkady Grigorovich Ourumov is one of the villains in the movie GoldenEye. When Bond and Alec Trevelyan go on a mission to a Soviet weapons storage facility Ourumov is there with his men and he "kills" Trevelyan by shooting him in the head. Years after this incident Ourumov goes to Severnaya to make use of the weapons system GoldenEye. He takes the card, the key and the access codes from the officer at Severnaya and orders all the technicians to be killed, and then he destroys Severnaya with the GoldenEye satellite. Later he is supposedly heading up the investigation of the destruction of Severnaya. Then he captures Natalya Simonova, one of the two technicians who survived, and brings her to Alec Trevelyan. When Bond shows up he almost kills Trevelyan and his henchman, but Ourumov holds Natalya hostage. Bond saves Natalya and kills Ourumov, but Trevelyan and his henchman escape.
