Ali Kerim Bey is one of Bond's allies in the movie From Russia With Love. Kerim Bey is the person who is Bond's contact in Istanbul, Turkey. Kerim Bey helped Bond find information on Tatiana Romanova, the person who was supposedly to be defecting. Kerim Bey brought Bond to the house of some Gypsies that are friends with him (Kerim Bey), but then they were attacked by some Bulgars, and came out victorious. Kerim Bey also aided in the killing of a certain Bulgar called Krilencu. Another thing that Kerim Bey aided Bond in was the apprehension of the LEKTOR encoding machine. The very last thing that Kerim Bey helps Bond in is getting Bond and Tatiana Romanova out of the country so they could get to London. However, Red Grant kills Kerim Bey before Bond was supposed to meet one of his sons along their (Bond & Romanova) escape route.
