May Day is Max Zorin's henchman in the movie A View To a Kill. In this movie, May Day appears with Max Zorin on several occasions, but she also kills one of Bond's contacts in Paris, Achille Aubergine. This is when the plot thickens. Bond then goes to Zorin's horse auction; this is where he meets May Day again. This time when they meet they are in bed, and very few words are said, but Bond thinks he has the upper hand. May Day next kills Bond's chauffer, Sir Godfrey Tibbett. Next, when Bond goes to visit Stacey Sutton, one of his leads, and calls Chuck Lee there to help him, May Day also kills him (Chuck Lee). The next time Bond sees May Day is when he goes under the San Andreas fault, where Zorin Plans to set off a bomb. When Bond and Stacey get spotted, and start running, May Day, Jenny Flex and Pan Ho chase after, only to be drowned (except for May Day) from the crushing waves of the lake just above. When Stacey gets out from under the ground by way of a well, Zorin picks her up in his blimp. Seeing that she had been betrayed, May Day helps Bond to remove the bomb from the piles of TNT that it was sitting on. Because the bomb was timed, they had to send it out of the mine by way of a mine cart. However, the handle kept slipping, so May Day sacrificed her life to keep the handle so it wouldn't stop the cart. Just before she died, she waved to Zorin and asked Bond to "Get Zorin for me". |
