Tiger Tanaka is one of Bond's allies in the movie You Only Live Twice. M tells Bond to go and find the head of Japanese Secret Service, and he found him, Tiger. Tiger has a ninja training facility. When Tiger learns of what they need to do, he begins right away at trying to make Bond look Japanese. Tiger also trains Bond in the art of being a ninja. When Bond is finally up to speed, he pretends to get married to a Japanese Secret Service agent who is native to the island in which Blofeld hid his launch site. When Bond and Kissy (the Secret Service agent) get on the island, they go up to her house to sleep for the night (in different beds). Suddenly, Bond is woken in the middle of the night by Tiger who told him that the Americans were going to launch their next space shuttle at midnight that night, and that they had to move to catch Blofeld. When Bond gets inside, he is captured and brought before Blofeld. Bond then creates a distraction and opens the crater letting some ninjas in. Once Blofeld's technicians get the crater closed again, one of the ninja's puts a limpet mine on the top, thus blowing a hole in the middle. This lets all the ninjas in, even Tiger. Once the ninjas had finished off all the guards, Blofeld pulled the self destruct lever to the volcano, thus making all the ninjas, Bond, Kissy and Tiger flee. At the end of the movie, Tiger climbs aboard one of the life rafts that the British air force dropped in the sea.
