Vijay is one of Bond's allies in the movie Octopussy. Vijay poses as a professional tennis player at a resort owned by Kamal Khan to obtain information. Vijay shows Bond around, to the hotel, casino and the nearest MI6 facility. Of course this is where Q is. After a visit to Q branch they do a bit of investigating. Later on in the film, Vijay and Q trade watches to see if 007 will return from Octopussy's house. During his watch, Vijay was attacked by Gobinda and his thugs, and had his neck brutally cut by a yo-yo buzz saw.
