| Monica was born in Santiago the same year Ines was born and they've been very close friends since early childhood. She behaved like she was Ines' big sister even though they were nearly the same age. Ines admired how much she knew about boys, Mónica was sexually more experienced(sexually initiated by her cousin, at 13), was particularly cunning and somewhat tomboyish.
