Satan's turning the heat up,
The altar's getting hot.
I have a choice to make,
Will I stay or will I not?

Life seems so hard at times,
God seems so far away.
When hell is on our back
Do we choose God, or turn away?

Every day the choices we make
Affect our lives ever after.
Satan wants to turn us around
And head us for disaster.

I feel weak, unable to fight,
Will God give me strength when I need it?
I bow my head in prayer.
Heaven is close, and now I can see it.

Strength and hope God will impart
To a good and faithful friend.
Satan has been overthrown,
And God will be with us 'til the end.

"This poem is the perfect example of "what do we do" when the going gets tough?   Do we get up and walk away because it's too hard?   Or do we stay and persevere, with our trials making a stronger?   We all have choices to make, and we all are responsible for our choices and how we make them.   No one else but us is responsible for them.   In making our choices, if they are bad decisisions then we must live with those consequences as well.   Choices are something we all have to face....and when things get tough, what do we do?   Choose God, or the easy way out?    Because in the end, the easy way out "now" won't end up being the easy way out "then".   Make your choice now."
