That's
Good Enough For Me!
Some people say that
faith
In Jesus is for the
weak-willed
But we who know and
love Him
Are as cups that have
been filled.
They say that we are
fools
Intolerant of others
paths
Jesus is not the only
way
They ridicule and
they laugh.
They say all paths
eventually lead
To the same and loving
god
What difference does
it make
The road you choose
to plod?
Some preach re-incarnation
To escape the throws
of death
But sadly, they find
damnation
Upon drawing their
last breath.
Man needs absolute
truth
Upon which to base
his life
It's only found in
the Bible
Offered to us as an
earthly guide.
So are we Christians
exclusive
When it comes to our
beliefs?
Is Jesus the one and
only way
By which to enter
heavens streets?
The Bible holds all
the answers
If you would only
take time to read
In it Jesus says quite
unmistakably
"No one comes to the
Father but through me".
So if they say I'm
weak-willed
And intolerant as
can be
I'll take the Word
of Jesus
That's good enough
for me!

"It's sad to think
that not everyone believes in the truth that there is only one God, and
the ONLY path to Him is through His Son, Jesus. It breaks my heart
to think that many do not believe Jesus is the light and the only way to
the Lord our God and heaven's gates. I think of the bumper sticker:
"Everyone wants to
go the Heaven, but no one wants to buy a ticket."
It is indeed sad that
many think that solice in another god will lead us all to Heaven's gates.
And those who do follow the path of righteousness, are ridiculed and made
fun of for their beliefs. Many think that those who do follow Jesus
are weak, and that we use God as a crutch to get us through the hard times.
So then the thoughts and beliefs of death become more bearable. That
we haven't missed out on our tickets for Heaven. This is not true.
We believe, because we choose to believe. And through Jesus, we know
we have a place in Heaven. Ultimately, it doesn't matter what
anybody else thinks because we know the truth; we know God's promises and
we'll take the Word of Jesus!
A message from Janey:
"I do not view
my Christianity as a crutch to make the unpleasantness of death more bearable.
Christianity is a reality that makes death a re-birth into a wonderful
life with Jesus. That's what Jesus says, and that's good enough for me!"
