Heaven's Gain

There is an emptiness around me
It's a thing I can't explain
Mo has gone from amongst us
Can things ever be the same?

There's a numbness in my being
The world seems out of tune
Yes, Mo has gone forever
God knows, he left us much too soon

No doubt we'll manage somehow
But it won't be quite the same
My life revolved around him
Since he rocketed to fame

"How can you mend a broken heart?"
"Staying Alive" - was his aim
"You should be dancing" was his outlook
"Jive Talking" was his fame

Always in the middle
And now there's just the pair
Oh! Maurice how well miss you
It's a pain that's hard to bear

To lose you is a "Tragedy"
Our loss is Heavens gain
Now you're with the Angels
Back from whence you came
