Within
Your Arms
In your
arms I snuggle
As storms
rage outside
Your
soft breathing stills
Any
fears that may hide
Around
us the world turns
Leaving
two unaware
Of its
existence
The
drudge of daily care.
In your
arms I'm contented
To lounge
through the day
Revelling
in sweet love
That
you've brought my way
No nightmares
threaten
My rest
in our nights
Your
lovemaking satisfies
Lets
my dreams take flight.
I hope
only for a future
That
will include us two
As we
share life together
(I'm
so happy with you)
I dream
of the somedays
Spent
adrift in your charms
And
the rest of our lives
Wrapped
within your arms.

"I first
saw Cheri's poetry on LightVerse,
and was taken with her beautiful expression. Here, she describes
the beauty and security of love between two people....the safe haven of
your lover's embrace - there is no greater feeling, than that of being
secure, loved and safe within their arms. Read about Cheri
and her wonderful poetry on her site "At
Home With The Girls". "
