My Guiding Life
I was Brownie, but unfortunalty  I don't remember much of it. I know that I was in the six called 'Moora Mooras'. I can even remember the words that we sang when we danced around the mushroom It goes something like this...

"We're Moora Mooras happy and bright trying hard to do what's right."
I made my promise as a Guide on 2nd August 1995. I was in 2nd South Croydon Company. I was in the Kookabara Patrol and later in moved into the Warrata Patrol. I was second patrol leader. I had alot of fun being a Guide. Here are a coulpe of the badges that I got, including the patrol badges.
Waratah Patrol
The Old Guide Promise
Badge
Kookabura Patrol
The New Promise Badge
I made my Ranger Guide promise on 27th June 1997 on top of the Rialto Tower, which is the highest building in Melbourne. Some badges that I got as a Ranger Guide are: (They are in order of the badges below) ranger Guide Promise badge, Teddy Bear Makers Interest badge. (This is a badge that I designed) Asia Pacific Socaial Awarness Certificate, Canoing Certificate, Child Care Service Star, (This badge required to do 3 months service) and the biggest achviement of all- THE QUEEN'S GUIDE AWARD. In October I will be going to Goverment House to get certifiacte from the Governor-Sir Willam Deen.
Just recently, I joined We Do Rangers. They are a small but noisy lot! And they have a tradition to play hide and seek in the dark at midnight, when we go on camps. It seems more fun playing hide and seek when your an adult then it was when we were kids! (Rangers are simply big kids)
Oh, by the way. I am also starting work on the Olave Baden Powell Award. The OBP is the peak achievment for 18-30 age group.
