Song of the Goddess

I am Diana, the Great Mother, worshipped by all creation and existant prior to their consciousness. I am the primal female force, boundless and external.

I am the chaste Goddess of the Moon, the Lady of All Magic. The winds and moving leaves sing my name. I wear the crescent moon upon my brow and my feet rest among the starry heavens. I am mysterious yet unsolved, a path newly set upon. I am a field untouched by the plow. Rejoice in me and know the fullness of youth.

I am the Blessed Mother, the gracious Lady of the Harvest. I am clothed with the deep, cool wonder of the Earth and the gold of the fields heavy with grain. By me the tides of the Earth are ruled; all things come to fruition according to my season. I am refuge and healing. I am the life-giving Mother, wondrously fertile.

Worship me as the Crone, tender of the unbroken cycle of death and rebirth. I am the wheel, the shadow of the Moon. I rule the tides of women and men and give release and renewal to weary souls. Though the darkness of death is my domain, the joy of birth is my gift.

I am the Goddess of the Moon, the Earth and the Seas. My names and strenths and manifold. I pour forth magic and power, peace and wisdom. I am the eternal Maiden, Mother of all, and Crone of darkness, and I send you blesings of limitless love.

Charge of the Goddess

I who am the beauty
of the green earth and the
white moon upon
the mysteries of the waters
I call upon your soul to arise
and come unto me.
For I am the soul of nature
that gives life to the universe.
From me all things proceed
and unto me
they must return.
Let My worship be in the
heart that rejoices
for behold,
all acts of love and pleasure
are My rituals
Let there be beauty and strength
power and compassion
honor and humility
mirth and reverence within you.
And you who seek to know me,
know that the seeking and yearing
will avail you not,
unless you know the Mystery;
for if that which you seek,
you find not within yourself,
you will never find it without.
For behold,
I have been with you from the beginning
and I am that which is attained
at the end of desire

Call of the God

I am the radiant King of the Heavens flooding the Earth with warmth and encouraging the hidden seed of creation to burst forth into manisfestation. I lift my shining spear to light the lives of all beings and daily pour forth my gold upon the Earth, putting to flight the powers of darkness.

I am the master of the beasts, wild and free. I run with the swift stag and soar as a sacred falcon against the shimmering sky. The ancient woods and wild places emanate my powers, and the birds of the air sing of my sanctity.

I am also the last harvest, offering up grain and fruits beneath the sickle of time so that all may be nourished. For without planting there can be no harvest, without winter, no spring.

Worship me as the thousand-named Sun of Creation, the Spirit of the horned stag in the wild, the endless harvest. See in the yearly cycle of festivities my birth, death, and rebirth--and know that such is the destiny of all creation.

I am the spark of life, teh radiant Sun, the giver of peace and rest, and I send my rays of blessings to warm the hearts and strenthen the minds of all.

From Wicca for Solitary Practicioner by Scott Cunningham

The following I cannot take credit for and I apologize that I do not know who they came from. I do know, however, that they would not be in my possesion if there was a problem with them being used.

Listen to the words of the Great Father, who of old was called Osiris, Adonis, Zeus, Thor, Pan, Cernunnos, Herne, Lugh, and by many other names:

"My law is Harmoney, with all things Mine is the secret that opens the gates of life and mine is the dish of salt of t he earth that is the body of Sennunnos that is the external circle of rebirth. I give the knowledge of life everlasting and beyond death, I give the promise of regeneration and renewal. I am the sacrifice, the Father of all things and my protection blankets the Earth".

Hear the words of the dancing God, the music of whose laughter stirs the winds, whose voice calls the seasons:

"I who am the Lord of the Hunt and the Power of the Light, sun among the clouds and the secret of the flame, I call upon your bodies to arise and come onto me. For I am the flesh of the Earth and all its beings. Through me all things must die and with me are reborn. Let my worship be in the body that sings, for behold all acts of willing sacrifice and my rituals. Let there be desire and fear, anger and weakness, joy and peace, awe and longing, wither you. For these too are part of the mysteries found within yourself, within me, all beginnings have endings and all endings have beginnings.

So mote it be.

Charge of the God

I am the stag of seven tines
over the flooded plain I am born by the wind
I decend in tears like dew; I lie glittering
I fly aloft like the Griffin, to my nest on the cliff
I bloom among the lovliest of flowers
I am both the Oak, and the lightening that blasts it.

I enbolden the spearmen.
I teach the councilors their wisdom.
I inspire the poets
I roam the hills like a ravenous boar
I roar like the winters sea
I return again like the receding wave.
Who but I can unfold the mysteries of the unhelon domain?
