Most of us know the stories of the "Three Musketeers", by Alexandre Dumas. His work was based on his knowledge of French history, and a manuscript called "The Memoires of d'Artagnan", by Gatien Courtilz de Sandras.

Although the stories are fictional, they were based on real people. Below are a list of characters and others involved in this unique part of history. A brief description can be found on this page. If there is more detailed information, a link will be found for that person's name.

We are always looking for more information about the characters or the time period. If you know of any documentation which may aide us in our endevour, please let us know!
