In a world full of Richies, Andie isn't one of them. Armed only with her eclectic, mostly-homemade wardrobe and her best friend, Duckie Dale, Andie faces the slings and arrows of the High School caste system in the endearing manner that only a John Hughes/Molly Ringwald movie can give us.

OK, enough with the schmaltz. Andie catches the eye of rich-kid Blaine, much to the chagrin of both Duckie, and Steff...the rich kid who always wanted to date Andie. Blaine asks Andie to the prom, but bows under the peer pressure of the other richies.

Will Andie get to go to the prom? Will Duckie's unrequited love ever become requited? Was the hole in the ozone layer a direct result of Iona's excessive use of AquaNet on those wacky hairstyles? Has anyone under 20 EVER listened to a Steve Lawrence album? Does anyone under 20 remember albums?

Oh who cares... just check out Pretty In Pink. It's a classic, for chrissakes.
