20 May (Thursday)

It's still sunny.  I wore a t-shirt.  Ack! We stopped at Killiecrankie and Queen's View -- which have incredible views -- on our way to Pitlochry, where we saw the hydroelectric dam.  We crossed the river on a suspension footbridge -- it made me more nervous than the ferry crossing did back at Skye.

Killiecrankie

This is Soldier's Leap...legend has it that Donald MacBean, a Redcoat soldier fleeing the battle of Killiecrankie, lepat 5.5 metres (18 feet) across the River Garry while being pursued by Jacobite clansmen.
