My first gig was as a soundman at around age 7 for my mother’s A Capella singing group “The Soundettes". Elementary school brought me to the school band, and the drums. By 5th grade the school asked me to replace the veteran 6th grader sound/light man as the schools AV Dept. head. I became involved with the schools Shakespeare Theater Co. that provided the perfect opportunity for me to embrace this opportunity. The summer after 7th grade I started playing the violin, bass and guitar. Soon after I was playing the clubs in Greenwich Village, N.Y. I have studied acoustic and electric guitar and bass, keyboard, violin, drums, and voice covered jazz, blues, country, swing, bluegrass, rock, theory, orchestration, and arranging all over the N.Y.C. and Westchester area, publicly and privately, with teachers from Westchester Conservatory, Manhattan School of Music, and Julliard. I studied recording engineering in N.Y.C. at The Center For the Media Arts. Since then I have performed with major stars, worked with major producers, been signed with William-Morris Agency, played on dozens of records, and have been offered contracts from every major record label in N.Y. I have worked/played with: Clarence Clemmons (Bruce Springsteen), Ace Freely (Kiss), Ritchie Canatta (Billy Joel), Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, Paul Simon, etc.), Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Indigo Girls, Paul McCartney etc.), Rob Sabina (Madonna), Danny Federicci (Bruce Springsteen), Jerry Jeff Walker, Spyro Jyra, Jay Ryan (Donald Fagan/ Steely Dan), Peter Denenberg (Spin Doctors), Jimmy Miller (Rolling Stones), John Nagy (George Thorogood), Marshall Wood (Dizzy Gillespie), Leon Parker (George Benson), and many more……… I recently started my own record, publishing, and production companies and in addition to producing my own record is producing several other artists and records from/in the Saratoga Springs area. I have been recording, performing, and writing songs for over 23 years with groups spanning, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country, Punk, Heavy Metal, Alternative, Pop, and Folk. I also teach guitar and bass in Saratoga, while working in major studios and performing all over the state. My current record includes many of my friends including Tony Levin and Jerry Marotta.
