Paco de Lucía has cancelled concerts of his U.S.A tour because of delays in obtaining the necessary immigration visa´s.

The first cancellation was at the Davis Mondavi Center, where a concert was announced for the 20th of January. After moving such to the 28th and once again a further cancellation, the concert has been definitely postphoned. The Mondavi Center has stated that a scheduling of a new date is not possible and that even though there is being imposed strict immigration policies to artists wishing to perform in the U.S.A, they are determined to keep on booking such in order to keep going an enlightning cultural interchange.


Cal Performances has decided to postphone the concerts that were supoosed to be held in Berkeley and Santa Cruz. The concerts scheduled for the 24th and 25th of January at the Zellerbach Hall have been re booked for the 4th and 5th of March. The concert scheduled in Santa Cruz Civic for the 26th of January has been postphoned until the 2nd of March.
