This webpage was built primarily to share some memorable moments on the occassion of my marriage that took place on July 5th 2000.
June 22nd 11.30pm IST, I landed in good old madras. It was good to be back home. Spent a week in madras visiting family and friends.
Left for Nagercoil on June 30th. Nagercoil was beautiful as ever surrounded by the mountains of western ghats and the Indian ocean. The weather was just perfect. The landscape surrounding was green and lovely. Wish i had more time to spend in my beautiful home town with my wife.
The wedding went very well with the blessings of family and friends on July 5 2000. Muhurtham was between 9am and 10.30am.
Spent a couple of days in Nagercoil after the wedding and then left for Tirunelveli where my in-laws reside currently.
Had a grand reception in Tirunelveli on July 8 2000 between noon and 2pm.
The following day, we went Tiruchendur to visit my twin brother. I must say he was looking real good with all that sandal wood and panchamirtham all over him. Boy i was envious.
Then we proceeded back to Chennai where we had another reception at Hotel Palm Grove on July 10th. The reception was grand and lot of my friends from college and from chennai were able to attend this event.
And that left only two full days for me and lakshmi to spend in chennai. These two days were spent visiting family. Overall it was a real hectic but memorable trip and i am glad its all over and my life has taken a new turn.
Looking forward to sharing the rest of my life with my beautiful wife Lakshmi.
