Long since I felt your softness,

Savoured thy sweetness,

Merciless Aussie temptress,

Thou set alight my senses,

Remained you have in my heart’s fold,

Evoking memories of old,

Of a place, freedom was gained,

And carefree youth reigned,

You are nourishment for the soul,

As much thou are for my mortal hold,

So hurry to me oh heavenly feast,

No longer can I bear being teased.
