I have been waiting for Bandai to make this kit for a long time, so u can guess when they came out with it I got it right away. first thing I did with this kit is spray painted the "so called orange color" a true orange of my own. I used Testors model spray paint "FOR PLASTIC KITS". If you are planning on using spray paint use Testors or some other model spray paint. Don't go down to your local hardware store and buy some because it will come out all sticky and it will get on other parts while try to put it together. I found that out the hard way with a previous kit that I made. While the parts were drying I did the panel lines work with my trusty Gundam fine point marker. After the parts were done drying I drew the panel lines on them also. After that it was final time for assembly. After the model kit was assembled I took some pastels from my art class in school. "DON'T TELL ANYONE". Since the RGM-79 was a ground version I used a darker pastel then you would for a space mobile suit. Then after some final touches I used some Testors lacquer FOR PLASTIC MODELS. When I used this lacquer it turned the tanish body parts to a kind of off-white. This really pissed me off because I wanted my RGM-79(G) tanish. Then I looked at the model on the box and the modeler for Bandai I see had the same problem. Well after the final-final touches I took pictures and posted it on Gundam.com and it was in the top 5 for about 3 months. SOOOOOO, MISSION COMPLETED.

This model looks really good. If you notice the shield markings "03," he put this GM in the same platoon as my Gundam ground is. I'd have to say, what he did with this model makes me want a GM Ground.
