Vane Pierce was calm as all the thoughts of the ensuing mission flowed through his head. As he approached the Jaburo Base, he radioed Amuro Ray over his gundam's computer.

"Amuro Ray, this is Vane Pierce, Im arriving on schedule."

There was a moment of silence, then Amuro's voice appeared.

"Ammuro Ray here, I read you clear Vane, access granted."

Vane smiled, and continued on.

When Vane arrived, Amuro welcomed him in Gundam.

"Everything's beginning now, you arrived right on time," Amuro Ray said.

"Whats the news?" Vane responded.

"Nothing yet, but it shouldn't be long before they get here."

"I saw a group of Zeon Mobile Suits on the way here, I engaged them, but they escaped. There were three of them, two Zakus and a Gouf."

"Get which way they were going?"

"No, they each distracted me and escaped seperately, I couldn't tell."

Right as soon as Vane finished, three signiatures appeared on Amuro's computer.

"Three signiatures approaching. Hm, that might be them. I'll take care of them."

"Alright, radio if you need help."

"Roger."

Hi-Nu Gundam boosted into the air lighting a beam saber and going after the Zeon suits.

Vane smiled wryly, turning his gundam around to watch Hi-Nu fly off, and retrieving the mega beam launcher from Vigna Ghina's back. The beam launcher made a low hum as it charged, then a crosshair reticle appeared on Vane's computer screen.

A loud beeping rang in Amuro's cockpit as the beam launcher locked onto Hi-Nu.

"Locked on," Vane said.

"Huh? What are you doing!?" Amuro asked puzzled.

"You shouldn't trust pirates if your a federation president, Amuro Ray. You should know that!"

The beam launcher fired. Exploding on contact of Hi-Nu. Hi-Nu was shot down to the ground below, a grassy plain.

"Squadron 38, orders from Decius Duke are to return to base now!" Vane said over the radio in a serious voice.

The pilots of the mobile suits returned, "Yes sir."

The signiatures reversed position and slowly dissapeared.

Vane loaded the beam launcher back on Vigna Ghina's back and lit a beam sword and armed its machine gun, then lifted off in search of Hi-Nu.

A static fuzz emitted from Vane's radio and a voice heard above it, "You traitor!"

"Im not the traitor, you just should of had the sense not to trust the Crossbone Vanguard," Vane responded.

Vane saw Hi-Nu directly underneath him. The machine gun fired at the downed gundam, its bullets denting into Hi-Nu's already damaged armor. Vigna Ghina touched down about a hundred feet away from Hi-Nu.

Hi-Nu slowly pried its way up from the ground, an annoying beeping buzzing loudly indicating heavy body damage.

"The Crossbones won't get away with this," Amuro winced.

Vane said nothing.

Vigna Ghina's machine gun dropped the ground. The white glowing beam sword now pointing at Hi-Nu. Hi-Nu lit a beam saber and swung it recklessly at Vigna Ghina, Vigna Ghina efforlessly dodged the attack. The wide swing left Hi-Nu wide open, the white beam sword sliced vertically down Hi-Nu's chest. Returning the attack, Hi-Nu landed a hit horizontally against Vigna Ghina's chest area. Vigna Ghina's free hand struck Hi-Nu in the side of the body, wrenching it to the side. Again Vigna Ghina's fist slammed into Hi-Nu's body. Vigna Ghina was placing for another punch, but Hi-Nu cut again. The attack made Vigna Ghina recoil. The beam sword flew from Vigna Ghina's hand. With no weapon, Vigna Ghina grabbed Hi-Nu by the waist and walked forward, pushing Hi-Nu along. Then, giving Hi-Nu a shove, Vigna Ghina released Hi-Nu. Hi-Nu stammered back a few steps before falling over backwards.

Hi-Nu slowly got up, only to see Vigna Ghina with the beam launcher pointed at it again. Thinking quickly, Amuro released the fin funnels off of Hi-Nu's back. The fin funnels rose into the air and set into place. Amuro's quick thinking didnt get him anywhere though. The beam launcher fired, slamming into Hi-Nu and sending the gundam flying back into the ground. As the gundam collided with the dirt, an explosion rocked the earth, sending out a small shockwave of air, which jolted Vigna Ghina slightly.

Vigna Ghina still paying attention to the fin funnels, reversed and tried to dodge the shots, but before the gundam escaped, it was hit four times, twice in the chest, once in the each arm.

Vigna Ghina is the victor in this battle. Vigna Ghina receives 250 experience points.

Vigna Ghina receives moderate body damage, light leg damage, and two light arm damages.

Hi-Nu Gundam is the loser in this battle. Hi-Nu Gundam receives 175 experience points.
