"Vex, this is Vane, Come in," a voice came over Gundam Xi's cockpit.

Vex was sitting comfortably in his cockpit seat when he heard the message.

"This is Vex, I hear you Vane," Vex said not moving from his relaxing position.

Vane Pierce's face appeared on Vex's computer, "Mission is underway, engage your enemy quickly, before Amuro alerts the whole Earth Federation of our attack."

"What about the Zeon?" Vex asked.

"They're both on their way to Jabrow now, Char won't be meeting you there at Torrington. One of the Zanscare is getting in the way and helping out Jabrow base, Char is taking out the Zanscare while Decius goes after his target."

"Roger."

"Im getting out of here, take care of yoru target and I'll meet you in space."

"Alright, yes sir."

Aoshi Shinomoro sat inside his gundam, ZZ Gundam, which stood right next to Xi Gundam. Aoshi's eyes were calm, staring out into the sky, not paying attention to anything aroudn him.

Vex intentionally opened the channel as he said goodbye to Vane.

"Huh? Did you say something to me?" Aoshi asked.

"No. You must be hearing things," Vex answered.

"Hmm," Aoshi shook his head and went back to observing the open sky.

As slowly as he could Vex could control Xi, Xi pulled out a beam saber from behind its back and lit it. A low hum emitted from being lit.

"Huh? What are you doing?" Aoshi said, noticing Xi lighting its beam saber.

Xi turned and swung the beam saber into ZZ's body. The blow jolted ZZ hard and etched a deep gash across ZZ's lower chest. ZZ took a step back and steadied itself.

"Taking you out," Vex said.

"What? What the hell is with you?" Aoshi said still confused.

"Since when is Earth Federation so trusting as to put their protection in the hands of space pirates!?" Vex said.

"What? You... You tricked us!"

Xi Gundam moved back away from ZZ Gundam raising a beam rifle up and pulling off two shots. ZZ gundam dodged easily, igniting a beam saber and then running towards Xi Gundam ready to swing the saber. ZZ made the attack first. Xi blocked the attack, ZZ made another swing, Xi blocked it easily. The two sabers pushed against each other, waiting for one to gain the advantage of power. With ZZ Gundam using both hands pushing against Xi's saber, Xi was quickly losing fight for power. Xi dropped the beam rifle to the ground and slammed its fist into ZZ's upper chest. The punch rattled ZZ away from Xi Gundam. Xi boosted backwards, temporarily storing the beam saber and loading a missile launcher.

ZZ moved forwards after the gundam.

A missile slammed into the ground in front of ZZ Gundam, throwing up a cloud of dust in front of Aoshi's gundam.

Xi quickly relit the beam saber, placing the missile launcher back onto Xi's back, and rushed to attack ZZ Gundam while it was vulnerable.

The attack knocked ZZ to the ground. Xi deactiviated the beam saber again and quickly retrieved the missile launcher from its back, loading it and boosting up into the air.

Before ZZ could make an attempt to get on the ground again, a missile exploded onto the gundam. Aoshi was thrown around in the cockpit despite the restraint devices. Another missile hit, and another. Aoshi's cockpit was shrouded in red as alarms all around him rang out, crying out for Aoshi to notice them. But there was nothing he could do, he was going to die here.

In a last effort to do something, Aoshi grabbed the controls and attempted to get back up, but another missile slammed into ZZ Gundam, throwing Aoshi back down into his seat.

"Got to.... keep... trying!"

Aoshi reached up again and pulled the controls, trying to get back up. The controls weren't working, but the missiles stopped.

Aoshi slumped back into the chair, cuts and blood covered his face and he was sure he probably had broken bones. He sat back feeling no pain, as he closed his eyes and rolled his head to the side. Aoshi died.

Xi Gundam had taken off to leave ZZ Gundam in the dust, broken and battered.

Xi Gundam is the victor in this battle. Xi gundam gains 100 experience pts.
