Satellites

sat·el·lite (stl-t)
n.
Astronomy. A celestial body that orbits a planet; a moon.
Aerospace. An object launched to orbit Earth or another celestial body.

Resource Satellite: An Asteroid pulled from an Asteroid Field and put into orbit of a celestial body. It can be used to build things on or mine out. Ask Strife for more information about how to go about this.

Weapons Satellite: A mechanical satellite, launched into celestial orbit. Can be equipped with different weapon types.
  • Missile: Missile Satellites can be equipped with a variety of different warheads, including cruise missiles, nuclear missiles, biological missiles, chemical missiles, fusion missiles, cluster missiles, and other types that you may think up.
  • Mega Particle: Mega Particle satellites can be equipped with an array of mega particle cannons. The Mega particle cannon, suitable only for mobile armors and battleships fires a massive, high-velocity mega particles, which cannot be deflected by magnetic fields and tears through nearly all conventional armor. It works by first gathering minovsky particles from the fusion reactor. These particles are collected into an energy condenser, where they are compressed by a high-density I-Field until they fuse into Mega Particles.
  • I-Field Generator: This generates a dense I-field in the space surrounding the barrier generator, which can deflect the beam weapons derived from Minovsky physics. The barrier has no effect against lasers or against physical attacks such as missiles, and within the barrier's radius beam weapons function with their usual lethality.
  • Sensor: Sensor satellites are equipped with an advanced array of electronic weaponry including; rotary radomes, electronic countermeasures, sensor buoys, electronic surveillance, and a vast array of enhanced sensors.
