If anything is missing- or if your e-mail address doesn't work- then you probably aren't going to be cleared to post. Don't worry, though: unless you're truly awful, we'll reply and tell you what you could do better and get in.

Also, the administrators require that you have an AOL Instant Messenger screenname. This is merely because it's incredibly advantageous to everybody if you're only an IM away.

The email has to include your character's NAME, FACTION (Earth Federation, Duchy of Zeon, or Independent), and POSITION. (This is a change from GUNDAM WAR: UNIVERSAL CENTURY; don't want to be a Gundam pilot? Cool. You can be a ship captain, or a lieutenant, or whatever. Just make sure you can get involved in the war somehow, or else you're going to have a pretty boring life.) If you are a pilot, please go to Mecha and Anime Headquarters and take a look at their Mecha Section; specifically, check out the Gundam section. Look around, find a suit you like, and then let us know where we can find the suit. (That is, tell us what series it's from, and which mobile suit it is within that series.) Note: Not everybody can be a ship captain! Seriously, folks, be reasonable, and realize that the most action happens with the mobile suits. Second Note: If we have too many people in a faction, we will stop accepting people into that faction for a while.

Give us a basic rundown of your character- how they look, any distinguishing features, and their personality. You should also tell us whether or not they're a Newtype. (Wondering what a newtype is? They're essentially slightly superhuman, with better reflexes and some very limited psychic powers, but in exchange they all have some serious emotional issues. You can contact us if you're curious.)

Finally, tell us about your character's history. What was he or she doing before hopping into the cockpit of a mobile suit? How does your character feel about the war? Is he attached to his equipment, or is it just a tool to him? Is she just a soldier, or is there something more driving her? Make your character have a believeable, solid history- it's incredibly useful for when you begin developing his or her persona in the game.

Note that the following things will make us unapologetically delete your application without notifying you that you have been rejected. (We don't have the time or inclination to politely tell people that they cannot write in decent English or follow simple directions).

-If you pick a mobile suit that's already been picked. Check the roster page!
-If you pick a mobile suit that's an upgrade of another. (You can't be Gundam Ez8, you have to be an RX-79 [G] first.) That said, if you really want an upgrade, let us know- in the example of Ez8, for instance, the power level isn't so different that it's a horribly big deal, but we'd like to talk with you about it first.
-If you're missing information we've asked for.
-If your character's sign-up form contains many spelling or grammatical errors. We all make typos, but if you can't write understandable English, you probably shouldn't be on this site. Sorry.
-If your history is trite or too short.
-If your history says "nobody knows", "classified," or it makes your character seem like he was the end-all and be-all of every war since 1945.
-If you sign up as a character from the Gundam series [Amuro Ray], a child/relative/friend/etc. of a character from a Gundam series [Maria Barton], a bastardized version of a Gundam TV show character [Zechs Yuy- yes, I have seen this one done] or as a character from any other show. ["Lo, it is the Shining Gundam, and its infamous pilot.... Card Captor Sakura!!!"]
-For all you old timers- You canNOT play your old characters! We may allow you to reuse a name, for old time's sake, but your old character, their history, and everything else is GONE. 0079 is not UC. Sorry.
