Episode Summary 1: The Shooting Star She Saw
As the five capsules fall toward Earth, an Earth survalliance craft spots them and declares them as meteorites. But as soon as Zeachs Marchese is
informed, he knows that it is none other than operation Meteor.
Zechs is currently in Earth's Assult Carrier with 3 mobile suits. He immediately gives orders to find the nearest capsule that they can catch up with and
go after it. The nearest capsule turns out to be the one falling toward the Asia area.
Inside the craft descending to the Asia area, a boy named Heero Yuy pilots a mobile suit that can transform into a fighter. In his way is a civilian shuttle,
and he first plans to shoot it down- but he doesn't want to shoot it down in front of the carrier because he is on a secret mission.
Meanwhile, inside the civilian shuttle, a girl named Relena Daralin and her father notices the falling craft. Relena suspects something is wrong, especially
after her father whispers "Operation Meteor" to hims self.
As the craft with Heero flys past the civilian shuttle, it breaks off it's "outer-shell" and moves on as a fighter. Earths Assult Carrier opens fire- missing.
Heero then turns back to destroy the carrier. The carrier then drops the mobile suit, "Leo", with Zechs inside. Zechs attempts to shoot down the fighter, and
is able to knock out the fighter's left drive. So the fighter transforms into a mobile suit.
2 "Aries" mobile suits fly out of the carrier and fire upon the
unidentified mobile suit. Their shots did nothing. The mobile suit with Heero turns around and shoots down the 2 Aries. Zechs flys up to Heero, wraps his Leo
around Heero's mobile suit, and parachutes out. Heero is helpless and falls into the Sea.
On an airport close by, Relena and her father leaves the civilian shuttle. Relena's father has to attend some enexpected work, so Relena begins to walk home.
In the middle of her walk, she spots a body on the beach. The body is in a space outfit, so Relena takes off the headpeice. She sees a face of a young boy- the
face of Heero. She calls an ambulance, and when it arrives, Heero wakes up and hi-jacks it and speeds off.
Else where, 4 other mobiles suits from fallen capsules go on a ram-page and destroy all their targets. After a data-annalasys, Zechs comes to the conclusion that
these 5 strange mobile suits are "Gundams". He then informs Treize Kushreinada, the leader of Oz.
Back at Relena's school, a new student comes in. It's Heero Yuy. Relena reconizes him. At what seems like a break, Relena comes up to him and hands him a birthday
invitation. He rips it in 2 and whispers in her ear, "I'll kill you".
