Mission

The Combined Forces Command will meet the enemy on the Electronic Battlefield. We will free the oppressed and strive to make the virtual world free. Our only limitations are the realistic parameters of the combat simulator we most enjoy, and our virtual imagination.

History

June 1997 - The history of the 160th begins as a Falcon 4.0 squadron. From there it grew into the 160th Virtual Fighter Wing with over 200 members in 8 squadrons. The CFC has always strived to be as realistic as possible in all that we do, however, most virtual pilots do not wish to conform to such high standards, but I will certainly make allowances for those of you who do. For the rest of you it is a GAME and it will be treated as such.

- Dec 2002 - We were reactivated as the Combined Forces Command. We used multiple combat simulators in a Modern and WW2 theater of operations. In the WW2 theater we used Combat Flight Simulator, Combat Flight Simulator 2, and Combat Flight Simulator 3. On the modern side of the house we used Falcon 4.0 (RP5), Jane's F/A-18, Sub Command, 688(i), Fleet Command and Operation Flash Point for all ground forces.

- Effective December 20, 2002 the vUSN has merged with the CFC. Admiral ARES will be taking command of our Pacific Theater as the CinC. He will have direct control of all events happening in the Pacific. Welcome aboard sir!

Current History

Now I am again starting over. Hopefully we'll be better than ever.
