CFC Communications Policy

1. Members are required to maintain a valid e-mail account. Free accounts such as Hotmail or Yahoo are recommended. Notify your chain of command of any changes as soon as reasonably possible.

2. Members are advised to maintain either a valid ICQ account, MSN Messenger account or a valid Yahoo Messenger account. Any or all of these are acceptable. Notify your chain of command of any changes. Members are required to join the Combined Forces Command E Group service. Just click on the "E-Group" label on the main CFC page.

3. Members are required to stay in regular contact with their chain of command. As a minimum, this should consist of either one e-mail or message twice monthly. If you are going to be away for any extended period of time then we work that out on a case by case basis.

4. The distribution of "Chain Letters", pornographic material, drug paraphernalia, SPAM (unsolicited mail), or anything else considered by HQ, CFC to be detrimental to the well being of the CFC members, is prohibited.

5. Use of any defamation of character, profane, abusive or hateful language in any form communication is prohibited.

6. Any message signed with an officers NAME, RANK and BILLET is considered CFC official business and all who send or receive are bound to conduct themselves in accordance with the CFC POLICY STATEMENTS.
