Following the Championship game, Coach Alex recognized the following players for their outstanding play and presented them with a trophy.


Michael--Tournament MVP
David--Offense (most goals)
Jake--Defense (keeper)allowed 1 goal
Stargil--Shot of the tournament


After a disappointing year, the LRSA 90 Gunners Soccer Team finished the season by playing brilliantly in the 10th Annual Wachovia Seaside Soccer Tournament on May 17-18, 2003.
In the first game on Saturday, the Gunners beat the Chapel Hill Raptors by the score of 4-0. Scoring were David, Andrew, and Jacariy. Michael had two assists. The Raptors added one for us by knocking it in our goal. Michael and Andrew were named players of the game.
The Gunners played to a 0-0 tie against the CASL Edge in the second game on Saturday. Players of the game were Jake for his excellent defense as keeper and Williams for his defense at sweeper to keep the Edge from scoring.
Against the Lake Norman Attack, the offense really stepped up. Goals were made by Dustin, David-2, Stargil, and Trevor. Assist were by Jacariy-2, Andrew, and Jesse. David and Jesse were named players of the game.
In the Championship game against the MCSA UniCity Y Thunder, the Gunners proved they were capable of playing their best. The final score was 2-1. Scoring the goals were David and Stargil.
