New Phase of Life
Shortly after I got my PSLE results I got posted to HongKah Secondary (HKSS) and I must tell you I'm really happy about the posting because of a few bizzare reasons.
1. The school uniform top is green and the pants is dark blue. Coincidentally KFC's uniform is also green top and blue bottom at that point of time. Many people had mistaken HKSS students as KFC staff. That's probably why KFC had changed their uniform to other colours =P
2. This is the first time I get to go home without my parent's escort and also by bus. Kind of learning to be independent.
3. New humanities subjects such as history and geography has always been my interest since young.

At first I thought I would not be able to cope with secondary school life.... Surprisingly I scored As in English(the very first time in my life!!), Chinese, Mathematics, History, Science,Literature(another surprise) and Design & Tech. As for Geography I missed out an A by a point, and finally my Art & Craft I got a C. I'm very poor at drawing so I'm already very thankful that I did not fail.... So Sec 1 life wasn't as hectic as expected, and I got into the best class in Sec 2 Express.
Sec 2 life is more or less the same, except my academic results was one of the bottom ten in that class. Not because my results had suffered(in fact my geography and history had improved), but because my classmates were too good!! However I still managed to get into the triple science class in Sec 3.
Sec 3 is the year in which my results took a great dip. I'm not sure if it's because I couldn't grasp those concepts I need to understand, or is it because of sheer laziness, that changed my attitude towards studies.
At the end of the year, I only managed to scored A2s in both my languages and flunked my Additional Math. My average grade had plummeted from 73% in Sec 2 to 64% in Sec 3. I think that's the year I lost interest in my studies.

Despite my poor performance in school, I still got to go for an unforgettable trip to Europe.
