Frank and his many Kookies, (Kookaburras), also known as Laughing Jackasses

Frank, a good friend of ours with his many friends, lots of highly trained kookaburras. Many appear daily on his verandah, high above and overlooking the city of Penrith on the western fringes of Sydney; they literally eat out of his hands, laughing their heads off, emitting their unusual guttural sounds.

Frank lives in Blaxland, Mt Riverview estate, NSW, lower Blue Mountains, NSW, 50 km west of Sydney, approx. 250 meters above sea level, in the foothills of the Blue Mountains National Park, featuring such natural marbles as the '3 Sisters' rock formation, steep gorges, sunken valleys and waterfalls.
