Moving down through the trees, Apoc and his partner Lonepig, moved cautiously. Nearing the trenches, they too, noticed the Skull & Crossbone flag.

Saul was on point for the SNIPER TEAM and moved TMA along the lower treeline, past the Gorse. Seeing movement to his immediate front, SAUL dropped and signalled back to his team mates "Contact!"

Going prone, Wraith moved up and spotted Vernon moving uphill. Checking his cover, Wraith set up for the shot. Meanwhile Lee, wrongly thinking he had been seen, moved off uphill to act as a diversion. Crossing the Gorse, he made it to cover, by the stream.

Wraith meanwhile had hit AXEMAN with a nice shot from his silenced gun.

Lee Could see MadMike 80m away uphill, firing at the BushPigs to the west. After a while MadMike spotted Lee and began to lay down some heavy fire. However, Lee knew he was out of range so did not return fire.

The Sniper Team regrouped and rapidly broke contact by running over the field past TAG ZONE 1. Where AXEMAN was signing in.

The Bushpigs Recce team slowly moved above the Trench Area, spotting several KK at their base, uphill. CREASER spotted them and opened from extreme range. The Recce team moved off again. AXEMAN was laid up, amongst some holly bushes. Seeing the opponents he let off a burst from 60m. The Recce team circled in and closed to 25m. Acquiring AXEMAN in his scope, Apoc got the TAG.

The BushPigs Recce team radioed to Napoleon that they had discovered the KK's base location. Napoleon promptly contacted the MARSHALS and reported the Co-ordinates. These were confirmed as correct and 5 points were awarded. Job well done.

TMA moved to the land's centre and simultaniouesly charged over the central field towards SCAREY CORNER. Nearing the Foxholes, they stopped to discuss a plan. Deciding the only way to pull off a raid on the PLATEAU, would be to sneak up unseen.
Choosing the right hand side of the PLATEAU to move up, they set off, with Lee on the extreme right.

Conditions were changing now and the ice was steadily thawing to mud. There was plenty of it, making footing harder and walking more tiring. Now and again a player would slip or fall over.

As TMA moved up the (1 in 1) hill, APOC and LONEPIG were returning to base from their RECCE TASK. Moving up the hill, they were stunned to see Saul 40m at the same height. He tried to hide but slipped into view.

Indeed NAPOLEON also spotted TMA from the top bunker and called CHOPPER down to his position with his APS.

Wraith signalled to Lee that they were compromised. Lee signalled back, his choice would be "bug out", downhill.

Saul now came under fire (AEG and APS)and Lee called him to withdraw. Sliding down on his butt. LonePig and Apoc made it back to camp and LonePig readied his APS. Loading her with 0.36g (heavier than normal) he lined up on the Snipers.
