Trigun is a futuristic Western set on a desert world with two suns and three moons. Besides the normal cars, transportation is also provided by large beasts called 'thomas'. The main character is a legendary gunslinger, Vash the Stampede. Also called 'The Humanoid Typhoon', he has been blamed for over 300 disasters but never any mention of him killing anyone. It's commercially released by Pioneer, and I have the first volume out of eight. I'll hopeful be getting the next volume as soon as I have enough money. There are 26 'stages' but I've only seen the first four. I'm pretty sure the episodes are called stages, but I'm not sure. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. It was created in 1997 by Yasuhiro Nightow. The anime ran from 1998 to 1999.
