| This is by no way a list of the
movies I think are the definite best of all time! But it is a list of films I think are
very very good and at the very least enjoyable. In it are some of the most thrilling
exciting, action-packed, thought-provoking films. I tried to pick a range of films across
many genres. If you want to see one of the most memorable opening sequences in cinematic
history, catch Elizabeth. The first scene is of three heretics being burned at the stake!
It is visually stark and supremely disturbing. Three Kings, Aliens, The Empire Strikes
Back, are all great actions. These would deserve a rating of |
These movies are, in a word, appauling. Notice
that 4. and 5. are made by the same people. Santa Claus is the most nauseating film I can
think of, and boasts a cast which includes Dudley Moore as an elf! Xanadu earns the award
for the worst musical ever, not that I particularly enjoy musicals, but there are better
ones that this. The Glimmer Man has the unfortunate distinction of being at the bottom of
the Steven Segal movie pile, below a lot of other appauling movies. No. 6 is the worst
Pauly Shore movie, being one the lamest, unfunny comedies of all time. Really this is a
represtative of all Pauly Shor movies, which should all be in this list! And the rest of
the list is just a sample of the most annoying, vomit-inducing episodes in the history of
cinema. These films would get a rating of |
A review of each of these films will be on this page . . . one day. I can't guarantee (when)! OK, probably not . . .
