Introduction

Freeze is a machine state snapper for Acorn compatible computers, it can save the state of a machine and re-load it back anytime. Using Freeze, an overloaded boot sequence can take less than 5 seconds.

Downloads

You can currently download the tested version 1.00 (63k) or the development version 1.00-27 (65k).

Recent history

1999.09.01	-	First public release (v0.96).
1999.09.17	-	v1.00 uploaded, this one works with almost any configuration, including RISC OS 4, but, downloading the development version is recommended.
*1999.10.21*	-	Development v1.00-27 uploaded. Ultra safe, even when misused.

Copyright

Conditions of distribution

You can copy and distribute Freeze as long as you include in the distribution all the original files intact. You cannot distribute any part of Freeze separately.
Magazines, PD libraries, FTP sites and any other kind of public distribution systems are free to distribute Freeze, but I'd like to be informed, so that I can keep them up to date.
Freeze cannot be included in a commercial package without my written permission.
