Like all the original children, Matt saw the battle between Parrotmon and Greymon in Hightenview Terrace with his little brother Tk. When he was at summer camp with the original Digidestined, he received his Digivice and was transported to the Digital World.
My Opinions On Matt:
I never really had a problem with Matt until the second season. In 01, he was a little full of himself and he was beside himself the entire time. But when he received the crest of Friendship, he changed noticeably. But the second he started to make Daisuke feel worthless, and kept challenging his authority, I had it with him. I wish Jun upon him now.
