Contest Badges:
Apple of Enlightment
This badge is awarded to those who place first for the second time in the d'Jeu's Apple
of Enlightment contest. This badge is fairly common, though it does require a decent amount
of work.
Apple of Enlightment 50th Anniversary
This badge is awarded to the lucky people who placed during the fiftieth Apple of Enlightment
contest. It was also given out to those who placed during the fifty-fourth contest
in the dual category, "What if Earthbound was an independant film in which the password
for Belch's base was waiting a year?" Everdraed also has this badge since he made it.
Only eight people currently hold this badge, and it is unknown when there will be another
opportunity to earn it. Be proud if you own this!
EASY Minigames
This sleek badge is awarded to those who submit a fluke to Luna that she uses in her
EASY Minigames. If you have this badge, be very happy. If you don't, try setting a
more short-term goal first. Like inventing a perpetual motion device. Luna updates
slightly more often than Bill Gates has financial concerns. (Just kidding, Luna. We all
love you. Most of the time.)
HARD Trivia - Beginner
This badge is awarded for getting Plo's HARD Trivia correct for the fifth time. This
is a reasonably common badge, but it undoubtably requires some effort.
This is the first badge a majority of people get.
HARD Trivia - Intermediate
This badge is awarded for getting Plo's HARD Trivia correct for the tenth time. It
replaces your Beginner badge and is accompanied with a rank. Only 5 people bear this
badge - AmzRigh, Diamond Dog, d'Jeu, Fish, and Imrahil. This is something to strive
for, and it requires a decent chunk of time and mental energy.
HARD Trivia - Expert
This incredible badge is granted to those who get Plo's HARD Trivia correct for
the fifteenth time. It replaces your Intermediate badge and you keep your rank.
Only Anthadd holds this sign of genius. Best of luck earning this badge.
HARD Trivia - Pro
This is one of the most elusive badges on Starmen.net. It is awarded to those
who get Plo's HARD Trivia correct for the twentieth time. It replaces your Expert
badge and you keep your rank. Nobody has even earned this badge yet.
Fan Melee - Ness
This is the original Fan Melee badge awarded for having the most wins after every
ten rounds. Scores are reset after each badge awarding. Very few people hold
this badge, so if you do, let me know and I'll list you here. Winning one of
these is just a matter of luck - really, really good luck.
Fan Melee - Falco
This badge sprang into existance after a brief fun feud between MrAccident and
Plo. This badge can be won the same way as the Fan Melee - Ness badge. I'm not
sure how which badge you win is determined. If you own this badge, let me know
and I'll list you here.
Sexy Beam Translations
This badge was awarded to the winner of the Sexy Beam Translations logo contest.
The winner was EB_Girl for her super-sexy laser logo. This is also held by Tomato,
Frieza and Kyosuke since they run Sexy Beam Translations. It is possible that you
just might get this badge if you do something to really major to help them with
with their project.
Tomato Boxes Pro
This badge can be won by setting a new high score in the classic game Tomato Boxes,
available at
http://forum.starmen.net/tomato/boxes.html. If you get a high score,
take a screenshot and record EVERY STEP you took to set the score. Then, just email it
all to Tomato. (tomato@starmen.net) As long as nobody has already beaten your
score, you'll have this shiny new badge. Quite cool and a nice accomplishment. Just
remember - a high score is one
LOWER then the current best! LOWER!

Super Happy Petition Badge

the Mother 3 petition, you can choose one of any of the four Petition Badges.
We can't thank you enough for your amazing support in helping the petition reach

L33tness Badges:
Dragon Badge
This shows l33tness in the eyes of Tomato. This can be earned by helping Tomato when
he needs it. These opportunities are rather rare, though sometimes Tomato is just in
a very good mood. Most people with these have them for helping with the Tomato Survey
or by rooting for Tomato in the Tomato vs. reid Super Smash Bros. Melee deathmatch.
Just try to be in the right place at the right time, and watch Tomato's Insanity Board.
Patrick Badge
This shows l33tness in the eyes of reidman. This is his equivalent of Tomato's Dragon
Badge. It was debuted when reid needed help finding a certain font, specifically Cooper
Black Italic. Again, just try to be in the right place at the right time. Keep your eyes
on General Discussion and Starmen.Net Discussion.
PK Hack Badge
This shows l33tness in the eyes of the Earthbound hacking community. This is one of the
most difficult of all badges to earn. Possible ways to earn it are by finishing a total
and complete Earthbound hack, doing a ton of documentation, writing a great hacking
utility, discovering a cool new hackable element, or slipping Tomato large sums of money
under the table. *cough*Simonbob*cough*. People with this badge are generally the leaders
of the hacking community. This requires hard effort, time, commitment and intelligence,
among other skills.
Other Badges:
Ayumi Fan Club
This badge displays your love and appreciation for Ayumi. Tomato generally passes these
out whenever he wants, though it's generally when he accomplishes something major in the
translation of Famicom Detective Club Part 2. Keep your eyes on Tomato's Insanity Board.
Sasquatch Fish
Only Frodis holds this badge. I can't possibly explain how you get it, but I
can
pretty much gaurantee that
you won't get one.
Floating Hippie Head of Death
This commands you to eat the whales. EBounding is the only one who holds this badge. It is
a picture of his head from Project: Mr. Sparkle. As of now, you cannot get one of these.
Xoddie Badge
This badge hurts your head when you think about it. The cuteness drags you in and then
Xodnizel will eat your mind. It may be Xod's equivalent of the Dragon and Patrick badges,
but I'm fairly certain it's just a twisted fragment of Xod's poor tormented tempest of a
soul.
There you have it. All of the badges you can earn on Starmen.net. Best of luck to you as
you try to collect them all!
