Hourglass
DESCRIPTION:
Brian, a struggling actor in Hollywood, has admitted to his parents that he is dating Cassidy Simone, the popular lead actress from the soap opera Lover's Canyon, who also happens to be his neighbor. Obsessed fans of the show, Brian's parents have sent him a specially-knit sweater to give to Cassidy, and expect Brian to take a picture of her wearing it, so they can advertise her face in their local clothing store back home. Since almost everyone in their quaint little town watches Lover's Canyon religiously, Brian's parents expect a huge boost in sales, not to mention a rise in reputation. Brian has assured his parents that he'll get the picture for them. But there's only one problem:
He's not dating Cassidy Simone. In fact, she hates him.
One visit to his fortune teller friend, Raven, provides a solution. All he needs is her tiny wooden hourglass...and perfect timing.
HOURGLASS takes the idea of timestop to the realm of comedy. The filmmakers spent a great deal of time perfecting the poses of the fifteen or so actresses who appear in the movie. Since a lot of the footage wasn't used in the final version, Hotmoon Productions offers HOURGLASS UNPLUGGED, which features roughly an hour and a half of unused footage, including actors and actresses not seen in the movie.
