THE 2001 VANGUARD PROGRAM HAS NOT YET BEEN ANNOUNCED. CHECK BACK FOR MORE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE 2001 SHOW DESIGN.  What I do know is that the attitude of old will no longer cut it in the South Johnston Vanguard.  This program is ready for the next level and we as a staff are ready, willing and able to take you there.  No more missing practices and or performances.  These actions are unacceptable to those of a champion band program.  The work ethic of next year must rise and your determination, dedication and desire must be unmatched.  Next season will be a superior statement for South if and only if the members take the next step of your evolution to greatness.  Trust your staff and yourselves to do more than you ever thought possible.  Dare to dream and do whatever it takes to make those dreams a reality! Remember there is no "try", only "do" or "do not."  Keep in mind that it is our actions that prove our committment and that words mean nothing until you support those words with leadership, action and example.  If it were easy everyone would do it.  But it's not....make your choice.                           Love,                    Damon & Ryan
