Ever had a hunch about the Catholic church being more satanic than christian? Well, here's a news flash, it is!
In my own words, I would describe the Catholic church as a Pagan cult disguised as Christian under lies and false traditions, here's a little proof:
Idol's in Catholicism |
What the Lord has told us about idols and graven images is very plain.
Lev:26:1: Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
The image to the right is a statue of Peter at St. Peter's Cathedral in Rome. This statue has had it's foot almost completely worn off from people kissing it.
A person can easily tell man bows down to this statue "graven image/idol" in a church of God. But besides this blasphemy, this statue was originally a statue of the Pagan god Jupiter, renamed to Peter. (Notice the sun wheel used for sun worship above it's head)
This statue is only one example of much more idolatry that goes on in the Catholic church. For example the virgin Mary is also idolized in every Catholic church I've seen. I don't seem to recall anywhere in scripture the Lord telling us to honor and worship Mary, funny how the Pope bestowed the right upon his church saying God gave him that right.

Abolishment of the Sabbath |
Roman Catholics observe Sunday as the day of worship because they changed the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday. Their explanation follows below:
The quotation listed below comes from: The Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine by Rev. Peter Geirmann, C.SS.R., Imprimatur Joseph E. Ritter S.T.D. Archbishop of St. Lois, B. Herder Book Co., St. Lois, MO.
Q. What is the Third Commandment?
A. The Third Commandment is: Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day.
Q. Which is the Sabbath day?
A. Saturday is the Sabbath day.
Q. Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
A. We observe Sunday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.
Q. Why did the Catholic Church substitute Sunday for Saturday?
A. The Church substituted Sunday for Saturday, because Christ rose from the dead on a Sunday, and the Holy Ghost descended upon the Apostles on a Sunday.
Q. By what authority did the Church substitute Sunday for Saturday?
A. The Church substituted Sunday for Saturday by the plenitude of that divine power which Jesus Christ bestowed upon her.
Q. What does the Third Commandment command?
A. The Third Commandment commands us to sanctify Sunday as the Lord's Day.
Q. What does the Third Commandment forbid?
A. The Third Commandment forbids (1) The omission of prayer and divine worship; (2) All unnecessary servile work; (3) Whatever hinders the keeping of the Lord's Day holy.
Q. Is the desecration of the Lord's Day a grievous matter?
A. The desecration of the Lord's Day is a grievous matter in itself, though it admits of light matter.
Note: In the King James Version of the Bible, the Sabbath Commandment is the 4th Commandment. See Exodus 20:8-11. Since the Commandments are not numbered, the Roman Catholics state: "The division and numbering of the Commandments have varied in the course of history. The present catechism follows the division of the Commandments established by St. Augustine, which has become traditional in the Catholic Church. It is also that of the Lutheran confessions. The Greek Fathers worked out a slightly different division, which is found in the Orthodox Churches and Reformed communities."Catechism of the Catholic Church" 1994. p.557.
To prove these facts further, I will show some truth from the Word of God, straight from the Bible.
"And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail." (Luke 16:17)
After reading in the Bible that God's Word never changes, yet seeing
man in the Catholic church and many other churches, change rules and
traditions to fit there own ways of doing things, it is quite obvious
that many of these religions are man made and not following the Word
of the Lord. The sole reason the sabbath was changed is to divert
those who are trying to follow Christ and snare them into following Satan's
false religions.
Some Truth about the sabbath and what it's for:
Ezek:20:12: Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
Ezek:20:20: And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.
"I saw that the holy Sabbath is, and will be, the separating wall between the true Israel of God and unbelievers; and that the Sabbath is the great question to unite the hearts of God's dear, waiting saints." RB: 42, 43

The Pope and Priests |
Some truly amazing things have been said about the Pope and his priests. Some great info on this subject can be found here: www.lightministries.com.
Refering to the Priest/Pastor as "Father":
Matthew 23:8: But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9: And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10: Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11: But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12: And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
"But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, and love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for One is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called master: for One is your Master, even Christ." In such plain words the Saviour revealed the selfish ambition that was ever reaching for place and power, displaying a mock humility, while the heart was filled with avarice and envy. When persons were invited to a feast, the guests were seated according to their rank, and those who were given the most honorable place received the first attention and special favors. The Pharisees were ever scheming to secure these honors. This practice Jesus rebuked.
He also reproved the vanity shown in coveting the title of rabbi, or master. Such a title, He declared, belonged not to men, but to Christ. Priests, scribes, and rulers, expounders and administrators of the law, were all brethren, children of one Father. Jesus impressed upon the people that they were to give no man a title of honor indicating his control of their conscience or their faith. DA: 613.2
