![]() The Official GWA Rumors Page Containing Possible Things To Look For At Up And Coming Shows. Richard's Report: Week of 3/18/01
Hirings - This week's new talent in the GWA is Grave Digger, a virually unknown character that appeared on the 3/18/01 edition of Impact, Shazaam, which is dido of Grave Digger, and Anthrax, from the former AWWF. The person who is expected the biggest impact is Anthrax. Being from the AWWF or a fed that the GWA is familiar with does help to make us think they will be the biggest impact because more is expected from people that had forty line role play limits in other feds, then unknown people. That is not necasarily true.
Firings - This week in the "firings" section is quite intersting. Krazie Bone Hustler, who was in the European Championship Storyline with Chainsaw and Bill Ingram, quit on Saturday Night, basically because he felt that he should of won the European Championship form Bill Ingram on the last Mayhem, I believe. His whining would have gotten him fired in a couple of days anyway, but everyone knows as soon as you get into an e-fed you do not win titles. You earn them first. We were going to have a triple threat European Title Match for Wrestlefest but now it is down to Chainsaw vs. Bill Ingram as exposed on Impact tonight.
GWA News - The page is being continuesly updated around the clock and thanks to Nemisis for helping us with the Wrestlefest II Page. If you are interested in doing more Pay-Per-View Pages tell us. Plus, after Wrestlefest II, Monday Night Mayhem will be moved to Tuesday Nights. Mainly because we do not feel less than 24 hours is adequate time for everyone to role play. Rage and Impact will stay on their Thursday and Sunday Nights respectively. In a final GWA site news update, The Insider will be moving his column, "From the Inside", to the Rumor Mill with a report before Wrestlefest II.
Latest Rumors
Skitso - After surprisingly staying with the company through our arguments, we at the GWA have found a nitch for Skitso and he will face Zombie at Wrestlefest II in a Mental House Death Match, the first of it's kind in the GWA. This is set to be a huge match where anything can, and will, happen. But what next for Skitso? A character like Skitso would work perfect as a heel, away from his current face status. But there are really no faces that can face a heel Skitso. So it will be interesting how this will play out. But the rumor is, if Skitso stays face, then there will be a possible Richard Stevens vs. Skitso match at Payback, the April Pay-Per-View. If he turns heel he might join Vester Lectum out of mutual respect from their match and maybe go after Too Phat and Tank, three members of the VTC, or three members of STRB. It will be an interesting month for Skitso in the GWA.
Nemisis - Nemisis' heel status is fading out, with the Vester Lectum and Richard Stevesn being around him in the pst couple of weeks. A full face turn very well could happen at Wrestlefest II for Nemisis. If Richard Stevens does win, expect a Nemisis and Richard Stevens rematch at Payback. If Nemisis wins, expect him to face a heel superstar, possibly Boomer. If Bezerker wins, I wouldn't expect Nemisis and Bezerker to fight at Payback due to Nemisis possibly turning face and the ongoing Bezerker and Nemisis fued since January, after the Royal Rumble.
Ryan Elias - Ryan Elias hasn't been seen in a long time and is not expected to be part of Wrestlefest II at this point. Personally, I have not talked to him in a while so his status is unknown. He will have a match with Chainsaw on Monday Night Mayhem. If he returns their is a strong possibility he will be in the European Championship Match at Wrestlefest II. If he doesn't come back, let's just say I'll let Boomer handle it. :P
The Small Print
The Corporates probably won't breakup due to the current HH and Beachdude fued.
Richard Stevens is expected to have a little bit of time off, possibly by injury or other reasons. The rest of the VTC will be around.
Death Knight is expected back this week from injury and might get involved with a fued with an ICP 2000 or a Too Phat member for Wrestlefest.
BK and Mix N' Match will probably be added to The Thrilling Hardcore Invataional.
The Corperates will probably add a female force to contend with the rest of the women's division. All signs are pointing to Brandi, who is stableless now.
This is Richard Stevens and you are reading Richard's Report. See you next week for the Wrestlefest Wrumors. ( And I spelled rumors wrong on purpose.)
