About Robotech

          In 1999 an alien spacecraft crashlanded on a little island in the South Pacific.

     The crash of this craft ended the global cival war and brought piece to the world,

     because they were frightened that the aliens that had built the ship would come to

     reclaim the it.


          It took 10 years to study and rebuild the ship, and through those years some

     information about the aliens that sent the ship to earth became known.  The aliens

     called them selves the Masters.  They are the ones that created protoculture which

     powers all the vehicles in Robotech war(s).  The protoculture comes from the Flower

     of Life which was stolen from the home world of a race called Invid.  A Master called

     Zor stole the ship so that he could seed other planets with the Flower of Life.  The

     Masters sent their warrior race of 50ft giants called Zentraedi to bring back the

     ship.  The attack of the giants was anticipated but uinavoidable.  A small Zentraedi

     fleet shows up the day the rebuilt alien ship which is now called "Super Dimensional

     Fortress" or SDF is supose to take off.  When the SDF detects the first ship of the

     fleet it turns on all of its systems powers up the main gun and fires a 2 mile wide

     and 60,000 mile long beam of energy taking out 3 or 4 ships that has now materialized

     from hyperspace.  The humans, agast at what just happened see why the ship just fired

     by itself.  The Zentraedi now convinced that the stolen ship was the one that they

     are now looking attack the micronians (their word for human size intelligent

     creatures) figuring that they will easyly take the ship from them.  The battle rages

     on and the humans figure the only way to protect the SDF, the island and most

     improtantly the earth decide to do a spacefold to the dark side of the moon, the only

     problem is that they can't get to safe distance to preform the fold and decide to do

     a fold only 2000 feet above Macross island (which is the one that it took off from).

     They call in all their forces and prefor the fold...


          When they materialized they realized that they have brought now only their

     forces but also some of the alien forces which are destroyed quickly and they have

     also brought Macross island, they also realize that they are not on the dark

     side of the moon they are near Pluto!!!


          After all the aliens have been taken care of, the Robotech Defence Force (RDF)

     gather all the people that were in the shelters because of the battle and transfer

     them to the belly of the SDF.  When all the heads are counted there are over 60,000

     people that survived the spacefold.


          They spend 2 years comming back to earth fighting all the way.  When they

     finally get back earth doesn't want them, because they want the aliens to leave

     earth alone, the earth government expells the SDF and all of its inhabitents

     to space.  The SDF takes on supplies and gets ready to take off.  The Zentraedi

     not wanting to let the SDF escape tell them to surender the craft or else.  The

     earth military take that as a threat and fire a large cannon at the now 4 million

     strong Zentraedi fleet, which is a bad mistake cause the Zentraedi surround earth

     and open fire decimating 70% of the planet.



          The battle continues and eventually the alien force and most of the SDF 1

     is destroyed.




          There is also a love triangle between Rick Hunter, Lisa Hayes and Lynn Minmei

     involved in the story which plays a big part in the destruction of most of the

     aliens.



          After the RDF help rebuild earth, and build the SDF 3 (SDF 2 was destroyed in

     the last big battle with an alien commander named Khyron), they leave earth hoping

     to intercept the Masters before they leave their home planet Triol, but unknown

     to the Robotech Expeditionary Force (REF) the Masters have already left and are

     headed for earth.  Before leaving the REF help setup a defence force just in case.



          A few years after the REF leaves the Masters arrive and start the second

     alien invasion.
