![]() The basis of Dubya's statements is alot of weasel words and hollow phrases such as "uniter not a divider", "reformer with results", "leave no one behind". Feel good rhetoric does not mask the fact George has fought against hate crimes legislation, ignored the poor to pursue tax cuts for the wealthy, performed favors for fat cats who support his campaigns, sold the Texas environment to the highest bidder, taken private land, pocketed sales tax money and seeks to undermine the separation of church and state. George does not truly beleive in freedom or equality. courtesy of Shawneeboy |
![]() A favorite mantra of the GOP his, "the liberal media". After Gore CLEARLY won the debates, the headlines and pundits mostly suggested a tie. Dubya's statements during the debates tended towards unintelligible babble and he often looked like a deer caught in the headlights. In fact, throughout most of this campaign, the media has been quite kind to the Texas tot. Lately, GOP faithful haven't been complaining as much about the media. The real knockout should be coming on Novemeber 7 when the toddler is sent back to Texas to resume his undemanding civil service job. courtesy of Big Jab Jennifer S |
![]() This country has come along way since Poppy Bush sat in the Whitehouse. If components of the Dubya "vision" where to be enacted, the results would be a certain return to the state of things as they were in the 80's. Could be even worse. The world is a dangerous place and a tenderfoot Texan with a small IQ and mind incapable of handling concept and detail would do grave damage to its security. courtesy of Rx |
